Financial inadmissibility
An applicant may not be allowed to enter Canada if they are unable to financially support themselves or if no one else is willing to support them financially.
As per IRPA section 39, A foreign national is inadmissible for financial reasons if they are or will be unable or unwilling to support them self or any other person who is dependent on them, and have not satisfied an officer that adequate arrangements for care and support, other than those that involve social assistance, have been made.
According to Section 21 of the IRPR, persons who have been granted refugee protection are exempt from this ground of inadmissibility.
